SATA Hard disk not detecting in MS 7142 Ver 1.0 Motherbord?

I have MSI Mainboard MS -7142 Ver 1.0 but this board not detecting the SATA Harddisk though i have SATA Ports.The board enabled with SATA (enable) option in BIOS but its not detecting the sata HARD Disk.please give me the exact solution and if u know the how to update BIOS please send me the details.
