I want to revvert to Microsoft IE ver. 8 as my computer has a slow connection.?

Microsoft makes it near impossible to uninstall Internet Explorer 9 (they think it's awesome, so naturally, why would you ever want to uninstall it?). My best guess: Reinstall Windows and every time it says "Install IE 9?" dont.
