I.m in love but my parents r against our love.please help?

i am 26 years old....for the past 8 years i know a guy and from last 4 years we r in love relationship.we both love each other and want to marry but my parents are against him.they like him..but still dey dont want me to get marry bcoz he is gujarati and middle class...my father says he is not our status....i have a very big family sme members of 60 my father and his 5 brothers we all stay together but in different place..but buisness is same.....sme of my family members want to support but they all r affraid of my father and uncles....i really want to b with him...but if i'll run frm my family...they will feel embarresment....and shameless.....what should i do please help me...i tried 2times to suicide....but it dint work please help me...he also want to marry me....please help me
